NOTES TO NEW CLIENTS
Please ring the clinic door as close to your appointment time as possible (right on the dot is ideal and much appreciated). If you happen to arrive earlier please wait in the car (feel free to park in the driveway). Thank you!
Please be advised that the treatment room is located on the upper level of the house and getting there and back involves navigating a set of stairs. I apologize for the inconvenience it may cause.
Out of respect for other clients who may have scent allergies or sensitivities, please refrain from wearing perfume, cologne, after-shave, and other scented products, as well as smoking prior to the treatment. Thank you for understanding.
In order to come up with a proper treatment for you I will need you to fill out the Health History Form upon your arrival to the clinic (you can fill it out before hand and bring it with you if you like). Please note that your first visit may take 5-15 minutes longer due to filling out the form, the initial intake interview, and possibly an assessment. Rest assured though that this is not going to affect your treatment time - if you are paying for an hour long massage you will always get at least 60 minutes on the table.
If you are planning to have what is defined by the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario as "sensitive areas" (buttocks, upper inner thighs, chest, breasts) addressed during your treatment I will also need you to sign a written consent. This written consent for "sensitive areas" is a requirement introduced by the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario in September of 2017. Please take a look at the related document prepared by the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario for RMT clients - [link].
I kindly request that you let me know at least 24 hours in advance if you can't make your appointment. If not provided with such notice I reserve the right to charge you up to the full amount of the scheduled appointment. Please keep in mind that the receipt will be issued for a "missed appointment" and will most likely not be covered by your insurance company. Thank you very much for respecting my time.
LATE ARRIVAL POLICY
In the event of late arrival you will be charged the full fee for the appointment scheduled, but will only receive the remaining portion of the treatment time.
In the event of not honouring your appointment time (late arrival, no-show, cancellation with less than 24 hours notice), as well as an NSF cheque or late (after the day of the appointment) payment via PayPal or e-Transfer, I reserve the right to request pre-payment for all future services upon booking an appointment.
I also reserve the right to ask for any appointment to be prepaid in full 24 hours prior to the appointment time.
